As a provider of equipment, systems and
solutions for the global energy and IoT industries, Witlink announced today
that it has officially become a member of LoRa Alliance™ (https://lora-alliance.org/member-directory).
LoRa is committed to building a low-power wide area network (LPWAN) standard
for the Global Internet of Things (IoT) and is the fastest growing alliance in
the IoT communications industry.
Founded in 2015, the LoRa Alliance's
mission is to standardize the deployment of LPWANs around the world for IoT,
machine-to-machine (M2M) and smart city and industrial applications. Today,
there are more than 500 Alliance members that make the LoRaWAN™ protocol a
global open standard for Internet of Things (IoT) applications and ensure
interoperability between operators and private LoRaWAN networks.
LoRaWAN's wide-area, low-power features enrich and extend the application scenarios in the Internet of Things. By joining the LoRa Alliance, Witlink will be more complete in the layout of IoT solutions, and accelerate and support the realization of various Internet of Things applications in Industry 4.0 and smart cities.
The development of Industry 4.0 and IoT
will require multi-technology integration and cross-border cooperation.
Therefore, from design, development, verification to integration, Witlink will
continue to cooperate with strategic partners from all walks of life to
carefully plan and provide innovative and high-quality IoT solutions.
