Founded in 2015, the LoRa Alliance's mission is to standardize the deployment of LPWANs around the world for IoT, machine-to-machine (M2M) and smart city and industrial applications. Today, there are more than 500 Alliance members that make the LoRaWAN™ protocol a global open standard for Internet of Things (IoT) applications and ensure interoperability between operators and private LoRaWAN networks.
